I have bought 4 of R&Rs manual jack plates for different boats I've setup. They are well designed and are a good value. The first one was around 10 years ago and the lady wanted to know how I found them. They didn't even have a website when I bought the first one.

I'm very confused. They make a great product. They have been in business for 20 years. There products are made in the USA. They have great customer service. What is wrong with this picture?

Me to Greg. A 3" plate will benefit many people and there site showed a Verado hanging on the plate so why don't you hear bout more of them. Seems to me if they been in business that long and customer service like Racer stated they ought a be at the top of the list when it comes to jp's. are they expensive or what

If I remember correctly I paid $350 each. They are 10" setbacks. Like Double Rigged stated they sell direct. I heard of them just like you, word of mouth.
Here is one for you. I needed a new tie bar for my boat, so who ya gonna call, Lathem right. Sent them a picture of my steering setup, dimensions and a request for quote. They came back with quote of over $1,600 for just the tie bar, I didn't need the ends. I went to a local machine shop and they made me one out of 1 3/8" solid Stainless Steel bar threaded just the way I need it and added wrench flats at both ends for under $300. I think they should start advertising.
This stuff happens.

I just picked up a set of 3" slidemasters from RR.....after close inspection I can say that they are built incredibly well and really fit the bill for those of us running big motors.

I had a 3" slide master on my super it is now on my key largo. It actually measures 3 1/2" set back. Nice piece and surprisingly heavy.

We've been using R&R plates for many years & promote them when we can.
I bought a 3" several years ago to go on my '87 Allison XB02...... had it powdercoated at Broken Arrow Powdercoating in Broken Arrow, OK.
I'll finally be rigging the boat in a few weeks. They are excellent plates & I highly recommend them! Second the excellent customer service!!!!Last edited by Hoss Marine Propellers; 09-18-2013 at 08:12 AM.

I agree with everyone - they're a really nice piece. Had the 6" on my 23MTR and must have adjusted them 6 or 7 different times, always with ease! Pete has been using them on all his outboard 28s and 30s for the last few years and is really happy with them as well.
