advice on 18 ft charger stv with merc mod vp
im looking into getting a charger stv with a 2.4 merc mod vp and am wondering if anyone has experience with this hull and how the motor should be set up. also i dont know to much about merc mod vps and was wondering if anyone has any comments on them?

Start with prop shaft even with the bottom and go from there. What gear case ?

Hey jeff thanks for the reply, im not sure on the gear ratio going to see the boat this weekend, I believe its the noramal gear ratio the mod vp came with, also what style of prob do you thibk would work best im tgibking about trying a 28 chopper if I do purchase the boat this friday
