    I had an 89 225 evinrude changed the #809 heads for 331490's filled the idle reliefs with JB weld, no baffle in airbox, added #106 pullover tubes at the bottom of the carbs, 74d top four, 76d bottom two cyls, bought the heads from Joe, jphill on here,144 lbs cranking compression, motor is still running strong , a friend of mine still owns it.Racer and Joe recommended dropping the initial timing back to 16 degrees for marina gas.

    Where did you find the .106 pullover tubes?
