top end prop for a 20' lake and bay boca grande
new to the forum, hello all!
what props do you guys recommend i try on my boca grande/300 hpdi series 2? i have a 26 and 27 fury that push me to 80mph, and offer great hole shot. have a 29 tempest that will touch 83mph, with a slightly delayed hole shot. anyone have this rig and have tried a pro et, or any other prop that has a better top end?

Welcome
your prop choices are pretty good so far! Sounds like time for a tweaked prop. I would just start borrowing props 3 and 4 blade and see what works. I have no personal experience with your rig. My fastest prop so far is a 29" SRX by DAH.L.T.

The new Merc Promax prop might be a player.
13' Biel tunnel AKA "Flight Risk"
13" Modified Yamaha V4 - 101 mph
21' Paramount
Mercury 300 Promax

It will all depend how much and what type of lift your boat will like as to what prop will work best. Since you did well with a Tempest, I would try a Yamaha T1-29 next. It will give alittle more stern and overall lift and might give you better numbers. Then having it B&B and possibly adding cupping to fine tune.
