Painting Viper Windsheild
Was wondering if anyone has had luck with painting a plexi windshield? My factory viper windshield is in one solid piece but in the sunlight looks like it has spider cracks everywhere. Think the sun has done its damage and the look bothers me. Want to paint it black but was wondering what people do. Do you do inside and out or just one side? Does it hold up well? Don't want to have to paint it once a year or have it all blow off. Going to have a buddy do the paint work but not sure what were into cause he has never painted plexi before..
thanks in advance for any info

Had the same trouble with mine plus a not so pretty crack. I took mine off and used it for a mold to make one out of fiberglass. Just filled in and sanded where I needed to. Painted it and the frame black, turned out pretty nice not to mention much stronger.
Good luck with whichever way you go.

If you are going to paint the lexan or plexiglass it is always better to paint the inside. Can you not take the plexi out and cut out new ?
