Before reinstalling the engine in my jet boat.

I have been cleaning the engine bay before putting the engine back in the boat and I noticed some slight separation between the epoxy around the jet and the bottom of the boat on the inside. I was wondering if I should run a bead of clear silicone around it. Any advice would be appreciated.

around the pump intake? it should be removed and resealed properly on top and bottom, also run new bolts when you remove it.
