I know your boat but have never been in it or seen it run. Your bottom is corrected and no notch now which is better with your motor. You first must get it balanced right w/setback to fly without porpoise at high speeds. You could try a 4 blade also for more overall lift and see it that helps carry straight before you try reducing setback.(trophy plus, Bravo I, pro et or turbo TXP ot4) If that does not help go down in setback. A 10" manual jack plate might be a good place to start. The TXP 3 you have is a fast prop but it likes to run high so start at 3/4" above and go up from there. You must get that sporty up or you'll never get great speeds. Perhaps you already have these ideas. You may have to make other changes........how close or far apart are your front seats? Battery placement in rear or under deck?

Keep us informed along the way.....good luck !

Let us know how you make out.

    Hi dnelson,
I am going to put a 10 inch bobs on it, I have the 14inch now but its really not practical on the southshore of long island, the back of the boat hangs low, going with a 4blade pro et, and take it from there. the battery is in the back of the boat, should I move it forward, or run ht eboat after the changes?

I would run it first and make changes after testing. Record what you do and the effects as you go. I know someone that might want the 14" if you decide to sell it.

I ran it with the 14inch , to much hopping and the guy i bought it from had 4 sand bags in the front, weight of 200 pds, I think the 14 is to big for this boat and would rather start at with the 10 inch and go from there. But if someone wants the 14inch, its just the plate, no pump
