comp vulture xt
here we have a 1985 comp vulture xt . the history of the boat is it was originally made for teddy bravo of muscle boats . it was made to race in a big race i forgot the name of it . but while testing it out it was flipped in the great south bay so it didnt go to the races . thats the story i got from two locals one person who worked for muscle boats and rigged the boat and a friend of teddys . i plan on restoring the boat just as it was from day 1 .the boat only has 2 foot wide by 4 feet long of coreing where the boat mainly rides . also the boat has foam stringers . the only thing i plan on doing diffrent is coring the pad and boxing off the transom

Looks like ya got a nice project there, can't wait to see it go thru the project, it's always shocking to me to see how much floor space is in one of these

Great find...I'm pretty sure this is the only comp Vulture XT ever built...I've never seen it in person but I reember seeing the production order for it when I was going through the files on a few snowy days in Minnesota in winter 1988-89.
There were more than a few comp Vulture vee bottoms, but no XTs other than this one. There were also quite a few Vegas XT comps. You have 1 of 1 Vulture XT comp ever built!

Since I already posted on a thread from 2002 this week I don't feel bad dredging this one up...
I don't remember ever seeing this before. Anybody know what happened to it or where it is today?Josh Peterson

I can see I never answered the OP's question about cornering ability. The answer is, they stink. One of the reasons they never made it as a Mod-VP boat.
