Even when you try and bow out gracefully you still sound like an idiot. Yo wouldn't know "factory" OMC/BRP chit if it jumped up and slapped you in your dense azz head....

Glenn got his ass handed to him at Jasper by a stock E-Tec. Bone stock. He didn't take it very well. Guess who helped set that boat up.

No worries Jeff, you're just misunderstood, a lot like myself. You have always been a big supporter of our efforts even while being a merc man. Jasper wouldn't be the same without seeing my Yankee buddies. It's been interesting playing with these green motors. Like starting over again, which I guess has been the draw to this platform. No doubt green is the future. So might as well get on board now.
I hope in the near future we see a drag class that allows these motors to shine regardless of make. But a class that takes a complicated motor and has a simple set of rules. Bottom line people are going to tinker with these motors, so instead of trying to police a stock motor with a thousand parts just make sure they are running factory ignition and fuel systems (Opti,Etec,Hpdi) and let em rip. Don't if it will happen or not but it would be pretty interesting if it did........

That ETEC posted by Baja16 is more than sweet. Why doesn't BRP manufacture something like that?

Check the 250 SL rules. I believe that is a bone stock 250 HO powerhead, WITH THE REV LIMITER!
I know he was running massive pitch to get those numbers at 6200 rpm.

Their isn't enough demand for BRP to do so...
