i need to paint my vector as low budget as possible
as some may know i have a hydrostream vector with a yamaha 225 the interior is decent all it really needs is paint i tried wet sanding it but went to deep in some spots now it looks like caca i want to repaint the upper half of my boat but for as little money as possible any suggestions i know most of you guys have done it im trying to stay under $200 and get the best bang for my buck 1st is it possible 2nd i have previous automotive body work experince but no fiberglass if you guys can give me some tips i would really appreciate it thanks guys

It may be possible to meet your budget with basecote clearcoat.But not likely,However it could be painted for less than $100.Go to one of the farm stores and look at the tractor paint,it will be a solid color acrylic enamel,about $30 gallon they have a hardener to go with it $15 pint.Some of the colors would look great on a stream!We use a lot of it and it last quite well.Im not saying its the right way or the best way,but its would stay within your budget.Oh by the way it's sprays very well.
