Red looks fast just sitting on the trailer.
Question; did he bond the cap to the hull for you? Is a rub rail going on?You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. I like the look too, but always though it wouldn't last long in my real world either. Bonded inside, now that's the ticket for a strong boat and minimal flexing. Looks great.

Well I have an update. Yesterday I went to Jacksonville and picked up the boat. It looks amazing to say the least. Jack does such great work and Im so glad I had him do the paint. Unfortunately on my drive home (4 hour drive across the state) I was in road construction zone and in front of me was what appeared to be a cement contractor flat bed 1 ton truck with form boards ect in the bed and it hit an uneven segment of pavement and its load hopped and a lot of debris(cement chunks) came out the back and I could not avoid them and the many pieces of cement or rocks or whatever the freak they were hit my truck and also went under and ended up hitting the bottom of my boat. As a result I have a broken windshield thats getting replaced tomorrow morning at 8:00 am and the the boat has 8 spots that have chunks of paint missing down to the original gel coat. It made me sick to my stomach to have damage already and I havent even made it home yet. They are not that bad and can easily be repaired however it just sickens me anyway. I'll have pics of the boat soon as I can get April over here with her camera. If not then yall will see pics after Jeff gets the interior gel coated and the boat mostly rigged. Im sooo stoked its almost there.

Almost forgot. I had Jack weigh the bare hull and deck completely de-rigged with new paint, transom, dash and deleted splash-wel (decked over). Its way more than the 900 lbs I hoped for. Its actually 1,090 lbs Its a SOLID AS A ROCK boat tho. Kinda wishing I bought a nice 300 X or 300 Pro Max instead for the torque. Anybody have and want to trade a nice 20" or preferably 15" 300 PM or 300 X for a 20" 2.5 efi 280 alien cowl and sportmaster gear case?

Its a big boat not the drag boats you usually have. You will appreciate the weight when your cruising to the sandbar in 10mph wind and your brew doesnt even foam up in the cup holder.
A 300x would be bad ass but a nice 280 is the most refined 2.5 you can buy.

Good point Kevin. Yeah it gets pretty sloppy down here in sarasota bay and the weight will deff make the average day out cruising nice. I'll miss the mid range punch that im used to with the lighter hulls but im sure it will still run 90 pretty easy wich is fine with me.
