It's a fishing boat, just don't use it for that.

No sparkling wiggles in here, only dump truck grinches.

I've caught one fish in it ...standing on the deck parked on the canal in front of Camp Mac , but it does qualify as a fish boat . Great on fuel as well .

19'6".. Thanks Shane. It handles the water well with a tourney load and 2 people. I'm still working on getting a few more mph out of it. With 1 person, half tank of gas, and a tourney load I can run 64 mph(gps) consistently. With 2 people, it stays about 61 or 62. But I'd like to get some tips from the guys on here to see if I can squeeze anything else out of the motor. Maybe some new reeds, shave the heads, and 225 carbs..

Here's my "Fishin' Bote".. Out in New Mexico in the SWDBA events, everyone had their boats named, ( red v-drive w/502 & 150 shot nos called Radical),When I went up to enter for the first race of the season, they said that a fishing boat.... yupp. Name stuck well, "Fishin' Bote". Even the announcer had fun when my little boat came up.
I'd come in on the weekend rigged for fishing and sking. Come Sat am qualifying, drop the troller off the nose and troller batteries, bolt on tight heads, little fuel, a tillman 22", dump all the weight and go play with the car motor boys. Even kept the fishing rods in the locker.
Had loads of fun. Even took a few fellow racers fishing a time or two , once they overcame the stigma of ridding in a outboard boat.Russ Benton
