Back to the weight of the 20 Tuff. I would not stand on the deck of my SS2000 and it probably weighs around 800 lb. My brothers new to him GS has some deck stress cracks, presumably from someone walking on it. Other then advertising, why would a boat manufacturer buy a scale to weigh their boats? The GPS is a better advertisement then the scale.
Bernico likes to put three people on the deck of there F2 Xtreme. A scale weight is always good data to have. As a custom builder why wouldn't you.

The Prince has a ton of potential. Looks awesome and great to see a new 22 foot "notched" V from the Northland. Still has a lot of work to do though.

I hope not, then they will turn into commercial junk.

Have to appreciate shops like Labsport and Tuff and others for designing new stuff in the SOB range. Labsport routinely cranks it in rough water (with photos) and sometimes in air only. Running 96 mph with the 300R V8.

I am on Cooch. I have seen the offshore guys stay on Cooch for their runs when Simcoe is wild. Rotorhead used to run his 21 Tuff in big water on Lake Simcoe.

The big boys came to Lake Ontario in 1986 for the Coca Cola Offshore 212 in Rochester, NY. The waves were over 10 feet and the race was red flagged shortly after the start. The carnage was unbelievable. Several big names in the sport came away with a whole different view of the Great Lakes. The big difference is the pitch of the waves.
