You can have the fastest hull in the world and 500hp, if the set-up is wrong it'll never hit a decent speed or be fun to drive!

Yea but his boat is set up for strictly top speed with a ridiculous amount of set back that would brake even a tuff transom in the rough

And 6 feet of set back. lol.
In all seriousness I followed you into parry sound in windchop in the low to mid 80's and I was not catching you. (I ofcourse had about 5 more inches of throttle.. nbd). Littlecharger was in the passenger seat.
I would imagine that the 85mph challenger with the XS either was set up for rough water or needs a moisture reading/straight edge put on the pad. RBT was running around 89 if I'm not mistaken with his aerated pad Challenger with a 300pm."They hate us 'cause they anus."

Keep in mind, the old challengers/shadows/superboats were not built with as much precision as the builders do today. Their layup/building materials often varied from boat to boat...... Just because you have 2 challengers does not mean they are built with the same materials, or weigh within a few pounds of eachother. Intimidator had a lower priced version of the 21 also, which was heavier then the famous red one...

I'm not saying it would not eventually break... But have you seen a TUFF transom? I don't want to be in a TUFF when the transom falls out of it, because you likely were falling off niagara falls.

This is not a TUFF.. But built with the same materials and If I am not mistaken the same style. DoktorC and JS built it and can verify if I'm and idiot or not.
