I still scratch my head as to why the 24 tuff is not on the list??? Even with a new box stock 300r it went 110. 118 with a 300xs.

Right, even if it was 35' long and ran the number with a single why should it not be considered the fastest SOB?????

I thought this all started as a class 7 style setup.

    From the first post:

    Fastest SOB hull???

21-24ft, what is the fastest with a single outboard???

    A 21 Challenger is 20'8"
20 to 24 plus or minus a bit, the 24 should be allowed

Didn't know that. Seems like everyone I've talked to we were always talking about class 7 boats. If
that' s the case then I guess the Allison should be on here. I think some of them have been in the high 120s.

I believe there's a "rough water" qualifier in there somewhere. That leaves Hydrostreams, Switzers, Allisons. etc. out of the running. None of them run Class 7 for just that reason.

I always thought it was class 7 hulls as well... thanks for pointing that out. Hopefully the new Velocity can make the list.

Wow just went to page 1, maybe I never did that before. Doesn't say anything about rough water, just fastest SOB. I'm gonna say no V bottom can touch the Allison in my opinion.
