Having been to Europe many times, I can only surmise that European men must fit better in a narrow beam boat than we Americans do. This might have something to do with the Speedo banana hammocks they wear.

The Grey Nitra looks great. Very unique boat. Would be fun to see it in class 7.

TooStroked your Progression 22 may be the first in the US to get Mercury V8 power. The SOB thread is looking forward to a new pic or two when she's done.

Looking forward to seeing that Progression 250R as well. Seems like there is a growing interest in the single engine 20-22 boats. Very nice to see, whether it's a new one or restoration, I'm glad there is a renewed interest.

Well, I'd love to say mine is the first 4.6 liter Progression 22, but that honor belongs to another S&F member who happens to live a couple of miles from me. He re-rigged his P22 this past summer with a 200 Pro XS. What I can still lay claim to is owning the very first vacuum bagged P22. Here's the first 4.6 liter P22 that I know of.

I'll keep everyone posted on how things go with pics as they become available.

I just updated my thread on the boat, but thought I'd post this here too. Johnny Saris just sent me this pic after shaking her down. 30" Bblades Blaster over the hub 4 blade just under the limiter.

Progression 22 with a new Mercury V8 250R doing 88 mph right out of the box? That must have made you one happy SOB
