Obviously a cat hull of some type,
As far as specifics i think it's all about setup and weight so probably a Liberator maybe a lightweight Eliminator

No cats just vee bottoms. APBA used to have a SOB class that specified vee bottom single OB 21-24ft. Looking for something in that range

I am sure this will become interesting. There are a few variables depending on which water you are looking to run. Progression, tuff, Superboat, Intimidator have all broken that 100 mph mark

If you like how a challenger 21 rides, you will love the tuff. It has the added benefit of a ballast tank to make the ride even better.

If you run the sound, the fastest hull really is not very important. A progression 24ld with a 300xs will get you into low 80s and handle big water very nicely, A 24 superboat will do very well in big big water but tends to run slower overall

Like Mikey said above... he's on the money. 21'-22's will be faster on calmer days but the LI sound most normal days is 2'-3' chop and with long rollers. It often kicks up fast to 4' or better also so it's hard to run 'full out' anyway. Heavier weight boats run better in that.

If money is NO object I would include a Bernico F2 for sure but good luck finding one.
