Force hasn't released any details yet, but another builder down under has rigged a 450 on there 21 footer below as well so I suspect info flow will start.

Force has also been experimenting with Nizpro Supercharged Yamaha's with great success. Evidently takes a SHO 250 V6 way up in horsepower.

If you want to buy a used one with 300XS power there is a 2011 21 that just came up for sale.

Just my personal opinion, but I still think that's the most beautiful 21 Superboat ever built.

I think with the ski race boats, loaded up, dragging a skier, the 450R could make sense. On a light set up, small boat, it's insane, too much power and weight. Cost is crazy.

The ski race teams down in Australia are always trying new combinations. I agree that when towing, the extra weight is probably not much of an issue.

Bernico of Belgian race fame has started to use the 450 on there 23' model which is a "deep" boat. Hull is infused vinylester and weight is about 1350lbs.
The boats are set up with dual ballast systems and a passenger seat that can face forward or rear. Open check book required.

Speaking of 450 motors. This 8' beam Hallett 210 wide body cruiser is running in Arizona with a Merc 450 on the back.
