He had a nasty crash in Elsinore and the boat took a big hit. He spun in a turn and another competitor's boat went head on over the bow. I think the hull has been repaired and is back in use though.

Yes the force 21X has been running the 400r and also the big Verados on there 21,s. i love Force boats they have the sickest interiors also!!

Super nice interior! The Laveycraft 21 XCS ran a 350 Verado before he upgraded to the 400R. Picked up 6mph with the 400R.

Yep Close call I watched it happen fro the beach. I drove the 1st 1 hour and 20 minutes of the Elsinore Enduro in early April. This happened the last corner last lap with my Co-driver in the boat pushing it to keep 2nd place boat behind him. He was knocked out from the other boat coming over the deck and hitting his helmet thank God They were both ok.

Schiada had the Carbon repair done for Havasu Race early May. Randy owner of Nordic offered to get Gel done for small boa Catalina in June.

That V7 with the 400 is running 84-85mph with a plush interior. 28SkaterCA here on the site has the same hull he imported new into the US. The Velocity V7's have 22 degrees a deadrise. I do not believe he has taken any top speed stats with his 300XS yet but I suspect Craig would easily take the open 6th slot with it.

Still no luck with Vessel View 7 Speed recall ran the 28 Trophy Race Conditions single Driver Race conditions 88-91 mph.
The 30 pro finish Promax gave me 94 mph but need more time on engine height. When it cools down I will borrow a hand held not crazy enough to take a photo when running up that high.

94 is hauling the mail nicely.

The 400r is a little heavy for the 21ft group listed here, however someone is likely to try one on some of these hulls at some point. The interesting result may be that some of the 24 ft V hulls will hit the 95-100mph mark with one.

I don't know? My point was that some of the 24ft hulls will now get into the 95+ range and that some of the 21ft hulls may find the 400r a little heavy, more so if you want some setback.

What is your point? The 400r is ~100lbs heavier than a V8 OMC and that should not be a problem for most of those 21' hulls, OK.

Would be very interesting to see that top end GPS number for the V7. Lanyard and vest and have at it!

Great point, I lost sight of that bank breaking minor detail! Long live the XS, still can buy 'em new in 2018.
