Tuff 20 competition with a stock 280 ran 115mph this morning.

reading back a bit and found this, that's hilarious "stock"
need to get that out with Hellbents and have at it!

my challenger probably weighs that without the motors! I think they were 900 out of the mold!

A 400R as a single on a little boat is a disaster waiting to happen, just to tall and heavy. The 300 HP boats running fast is more impressive.

Most would probably agree after the 400R boat got out of shape and went over. (Granted the dude was hauling balls and hit some cruiser wakes)

Is that the one? I had a friend send me a short clip and could swear it was the white/black Predator. Man that sucks I hope all is well with him, that is just scary and sobering to watch.

With that said I would not feel comfortable in mine with any more weight back there then the 300xs.

That is the one. Was all over the spaceface after the king of the cut run on long island.

I'm not syaing the 400R was the cause....but it may have contributed.

Stoker said he hit 117 banging the rev limiter while testing for the Parker Enduro. Had to re-prop for the race to keep it under 110.

COMFORT with SPEED are hard to acquire in most waters.

What prop did you run to almost touch 90?

merc cnc cleaver. 28p 15 rake, 14.75 diameter.


new development. Sold the 400R L-6, bought a used 450..

working on a cambered skeg sporty gear case, etc. new ratio will be 1.60, vs the 1.75, so a little bit of prop change, Jack plate height, etc. should be a fun ride.
