Lots of set up, seat time and skill in Keiths boat. He should have kept it. Mine on other hand

I do miss it, just at this stage of the game I wasn't using it as much, down the road I will get back in the 21 sob.

One of the contenders for slot #6 on "The List" is cheating with big power. Laveycraft is building their XCS new, and with a 350 Verado it does 82mph.
Not sure how that would translate into a 300XS speed, but this is a big hull and long at 22'8" centerline.

Another contender for slot #6 on The List is Race Marine's V7. #222 below belongs to a S+F member and is running 92mph now with 300XS power out on the West Coast and the word is there is more speed in it. This model has 22 degrees of deadrise. They've also snuck in a 400 as well. I believe the bare hull weighed in at 682lbs at 21'4" long.

A third player for the open slot is the Chaudron Pro S22. Max speed with a 300XS with DBR 1.3 with a lot of different props yielded 95mph. A normal build with a 250 XS weighing about 2200 lbs fully rigged less fuel will do around 82 Mph. There is a rumor one is in the US.

Yes, another SOB running the waters of the West. Labsport could be in the hunt if numbers were available.

When I was maybe 6 or 7 my mom bought my dad a 12' wooden boat from (I think) Sears Roebuck. To put this all in perspective I'm now 60. He put a black motor on it and we went everywhere. Tomoka River and Basin, Indian River, Banana River, Mosquito Lagoon! I swear on my life... we were going +100 mph every time.

    I miss you Dad.
