the nearest station for me would be a 50km drive which in the Netherlands is halfway through the country

here in Singapore avgas ( all comes from Australia) is 30% dearer than 98ron (in Malaysia we can get 100ron for 30% of the price of fuel in Singapore, av gas dearer)
a drum of any of the VP race fuel is in the thousands of dollars
Methanol easy to get and USD$150ish for 55 gal drum
cant get corn based fuel here.
Hence my interest in Methanol

here (Fort Worth, Texas) E85 is $1.86ish depending on the store, and premium unleaded is $2.69... I ran E85 in my previous truck for 2 years, it averaged 2mpg lower than running 87 octane dino fuel. E85 made over 60rwhp and 80ft lbs torque more to the tires than 93. It made more power than Sunoco 110.
