Glassed in the mounting bulkheads for the rod holders. One side was done first to make sure the mounting position worked well for quick retrieval from the drivers seat. The other side will get done next and it will hold the rear light mast. They tuck up well and out of the way.

The drivers kill was mounted in the center of the drivers seat. Should allow for some unrestrictive movement at the helm and will be attached at the hip area. Pretty sure the passenger kill will be mounted the same.

I already had some trim switches for the steering wheel spokes and was trying to decide where to have the trim and jackplate cords come through the dash. Did a little shopping on the net and came up with a set of these instead. Now that I have them and attached, headin to the machine shop to make a hub for the helm.

Knew I was going to have to deal with the lower jackplate bolts being higher than stock, and according to Murphy's Law, they would be right in the way of the splashwell. Needed about 2" of clearance to get the washer and nut on the mounting bolt. Looked around and found this nice cup in the laundry room. Measured 2.5" deep so it got cut in half and glasses to the splashwell, The underside will get cut out the next time the deck is off.

Thanks for all the detail. Going to start redoing mine this winter and going to use a lot of your ideas. Should be one cool boat.

Got the fuel delivery worked out. The 2 - 6 gallon portable tanks will be strapped to the saddles with detachable fuel lines. Both tanks are connected to a "T" fitting that feeds the primer bulb/fuel filter/engine. The primer bulb was mounted for quick access from the cockpit.

Since the transom is drilled, and most of the aft rigging laid out, decided to trim the motorboard down. Transitioned it into the deck fairing and should look pretty cool when it all gets glassed in.

Since there is no real subfloor in the hull, got to thinking about any water that would accumulate from getting in/out of the boat, or wet gear, backwash over the splashwell, etc... and where it was going to go if a quick slowdown were to happen. Most of the lowest part of the hull is the pad area and most of it is already boxed in and should reduce a lot of "splash". Decided to add a baffle in the bilge area that is open at the bottom to help somewhat contain the accumulated water.

Decided to add a small 600gph bilge pump that will be manually operated from the helm. The hose will be routed through the highest point to help reduce any water intake through the exit port when not in operation...maybe.

Looked at many photos of Vipers sitting in the water with big motors to see where the best spot for the exit port of the pump. This spot looked to be the best. If it doesn't work, I'll just glass it up and find another.
