OMC V8 23' Daytona setup
Anyone have info on decent prop recommendations for a 23' eliminator daytona with a 300 V8? Right now it has a mazco 26 pitch re-4 and runs about 70 mph on gps at 6200 rpm with a hydraulic jackplate by Land and Sea. Its a real slug out of the hole with 4 people and a cooler. I would like a prop that would cruise at about 50-55 mph and turn about 4000 rpm, but still run upper 60's. Now at 55 mph I'm turning 5200 rpm. Any advice or recommedations would appreciated. I can't believe these V8's don't have any more torque than they do.
