If you watch close, you can see mom's shoulder bend the throttle levers. At first I figured they got bent from the skinhead's hand when he got thrown down. But if you replay it you can see they are still straight just before mom bounces back against them.
My other observation is: A 38' Fountain...what else???Ron V

Towards the end you can see the bruise on her shoulder from the throttles. Daughter broke a nail and let out a curse word.
