Yep..."Great old school guy still going fast!! Loves to share everything he knows."
I managed to meet up with him (Bobby) after 30 years when I did a road trip back Illinois in 2006. Damn, I don't care what or who I brought up from decades ago, he remembered! Still sharp as they come. Never have made any Tom and April's Regatta's as 2000 miles away now. Sometimes wish I never moved. Always loved those old "Switzerheads" back there on the Fox Chain as we had just too much fun in the 70/80's!
Anyway, back to the regular scheduled program.......

If you are going the two trim pump route I would recommend a common switch that trims both motors together plus an individual switch on both motors instead of trying to fine tune just one with one extra switch. With one switch there could be times that you would want to bump one engine down slightly instead of always having to trim the other one up to match it. This could be especially true on a boat with blowover risk. Many dual engine boats are wired this way with dual individuals plus a common one on the wheel or throttle handle.

bad motor rebuilt, motors on, trim motors mounted and running, props at shop having "weed cutters" milled off, hydraulic steering in and bled, need to mount throttle boxes, batteries and figure out a fuel system. i am a little afraid of mounting fuel tank under the bow with 14' of fuel line, the last thing i want to do is lean out these motors by not getting enough fuel.

Now sweat my end. Just make sure ya get good primer bulbs. Gravity/Acceleration..(More this a bit) will keep the fuel to it. Plus suction. Don't know what tanks ya got planned, but "baffem"..or tilt back, for the run the hose. I built a front feed rear tank my dragbike. Baffled, and zero probs. And another option is running a low PSI elec pump..to the motors And I HOPE ya rebuilt the fuel pumps the motors. If not? "Put it on the list!" Pic my DB..
