    Jasper stock and bass,ski class

I would like to see more boats in the stock ,bass and ski classes. You don't have to have a tricked out boat or modified motor to run those,I wish I had run this year in those classes.A vintage class would be cool too.

DSRA is working on a Nostalgia class for next year. We'll be discussing it at our rules meeting. I was skeptical at first but it sure seems there's a lot of interest in the class. Maybe ya'll can put one together out there in the east. I wish the DSRA and ODBA and could run under the same rules to make a final championship race easier for everybody. One race in the middle not affiliated with either club at the end of the year as the outboard drag racing national championship

Good luck with that. The only class that both clubs run that are the same is Modified, outside of that, they keep getting further and further apart as far as rules go. I guess it's whatever works for each club to get the boats in there area to show up and race!
who knew a lil ol fishin motor could run like that

I would hope that ODBA would consider this at the rules meeting, especially about a vintage class, there are a lot of people that own older boats, lots of actions, lasers ,STVs,etc. Not everyone can go out and buy a light boat, dump thousands in a motor, lets make racing more affordable,I. Feel the clubs would make more money, more boats would sign up.

I know it won't happen but I can wish. We definitely know what works for the DSRA and our boat counts show it

that would be cool . to have true bass boats competing and fully rigged. i have an older 84' laser bass boat [17'9] thats running in the upper 80's/lower 90's with a 2.4bp carbed,1.87 gear, bobs lwpu, mazco 29 re o/s cut. havn't had wot yet, but i beleave she will break a hundred.
