Wally did beautiful Gel Coat, a true craftsman at anything he applies himself to, good to hear he is still plugging along...
One year at Jasper Glenn Reynolds paid a inspection fee to go thru the Triad with a OMC (Galen built) that just beat him in Lake Racer, roared past him on top end
Glenn could not believe it, so he dug through the winning boat to find nothingWe have invented the world; WE see

First boat I believe was a 1991. My buddy actually has George. The first V-21 made with the dollar bill glassed into transom. He had Wally update it and fix a few things including the transom a few years back. Boat still looks very good.

Just a footnote to an old thread. Wally has some health issues and it is doubtful he will be doing much boat work from here on out, barring a big comeback. I enjoy visiting with him when we can, and we had lunch together a couple months back. Concerning the bowrider V21s, he told me that he once was on the lake with his lovely wife Robin, riding in their boat, and he saw one of his bowriders flying across the lake with some kids in the front. He was so scared for the kids that he told his wife "I'll never build another one". He didn't.
