Triad’s Past and Present, Where are they Now?

I purchased this one from John M. from Lakeland Florida in November of 1997. It was a 1997 model. John ordered an Allison of some kind and needed to sell this one to make the purchase. He was running a Mariner 2.5 – 260 if memory serves. I purchased it less engine.

I ordered a 1997 Mercury 225 Promax from Cody Marine in NY and had the motor shipped here. I also ordered a Land & Sea Jack Plate. Larry D. from Beaufort did the rigging.

I kept the boat until Sept of 2008 and sold it to Eric in Myrtle Beach.

I’m not sure how it got there, but it seems the boat has found a happy home in Owen Sound, Ontario with Mitchie. Mitchie has some great pictures of him running the boat aired out. Hopefully he will post a couple on this thread.

If you have ever owned one or currently own one, please post some information about it.

That is a beautiful V 21 ya got there! Don't know if anyone got the V 21 molds but the River Rocket, Euro and the Mod VP Triad/STV molds are owned by Jack Barsh at Full Throttle Powerboats. http://www.fullthrottlepowerboats.com/

Wally still has the V21 molds. If anybody ever bought them I hope they would replicate the 7 color gel patterns. It makes the boat

Foxtrot, sold my very clean Yellow, Red, and Blue 1998 Triad V-21 to someone in Nova Scotia, Canada in September 2010. Had brand new custom interior.

The 4th boat down in the last pic post with the Tx registration is Casey Gudgell's old boat. Probably my favorite color scheme. Don't know how many were built but a lot of the V21's are in Texas now

If the economy ever gets better these fine boats can make a come back. The River Rocket and Euro handle the big motors well and they are getting these fourstrokes lighter and faster. Just no one has extra $ to buy new rigs anymore.

I could look at these pictures all friggin day.... lol. wally was asked of bayou boyz about the number built and he actually has no idea... I have tons of pictures and I am a forum Whore so I'll post a bunch.

ps.... Braxton... what kind of numbers are you seeing with that nasty diamond motor?
