"Basic" setup should stay the same.... What I mean by this is you shouldn't have to make any major changes.
You will probably have to re-prop and adjust engine height slightly to dial everything in?
With the increased performance, you may end up noticing other problems that you were not aware of at the slower speeds...... such as handling problems.

I agree with Tim that the basic set-up will be fine. The extra ponies should allow for more performance which will probably be realized with a bit of experimentation. Kinda like starting all over but with improved results in the end. I would expect an optimized set-up with the 260 will be different than your current set-up. Good luck and have fun.

the 200 now will run the boat dry and fly around 80 i was told that to wind up a 260 you would need smaller pitch then the 28 i have now to spool up.

I'd try the 28 you have now. The 260 is a beast compared to a 200. It's going to spin your 28 up higher anyway. If it's not enough, then you might consider dropping to a 26 or maybe a little smaller dia. prop? It is something to consider when making a major change in your boat.

as of now i am running the offshore 28 hoss. Its the fastest prop i have put on this venus .i do have alot of props now but no pitch biger than the 28p.
as of now it will spin over 7000 more like 7300 to 7400 with the 200 hp. i may need to go to a 32 or 34 .but the style prop should stay the same right?
