That is a shifter that I have had for over 20 years. I am not sure where it came from but it fits under the gunnel out of the way. Yes, A very trick piece.

A work in progress. I still need to mount Gas tank. I am running the engine on a test tank. I have about 1 hour on break in. I hope to have back in the water on Wednesday to put more time on break in before taking to Lake Placid.

I have been slowly breaking the engine in. The weather isn't cooperating to well to my schedule. I have 2 hours breakin on it. Almost time to let it rip. The boat is sitting in its boat slip. I am off to my next project.

Thanks Gary, Yes, it is going to be fun running around here on the Kissimmee chain of lakes. I have been having a few little gremlins on the Engine rebuild. I hope my mechanic will be here over the Thanksgiving weekend & the power head will be broken in by then & it will be ready to rip.

I finally got to open the boat up this weekend. I am still working on a small gremlin when engine is cold but when the engine warms up, it is running well. I am turning a 32 cleaver , 6500 rpm's. I am very happy with the boat so far. I will get the video from the weekend up loaded soon.
