Is it possible to replace the transom like you did without removing the back cap? I have the same boat and want to pretty much copy your setup, which looks great by the way, and keep the original paint.

not much room to work, the splash well will be in the way, remove it and you would have a fighting chance, however, go to the trouble of splash well removal and you might as well cut the back off. put it back together with or without the well. if i did it again, i would still remove the back half.

I did the same hull a year ago. You did a great job. The only way to do it is cutting the back cap off. I extended the rear deck area forward
with the splash well removal. I can't wait to see the paint. Where did you get the bucket seats?

Seats
I just was thinking how heavy the original interior was. I so wish i would have weighed it people would not believe how heavy it was. Your new seats should be good for 10mph increase in top end.
