Just bought my first 1970 Stevens Flat Bottom

I`m new here & would like to say Hello & show some pic`s of my boat. I found some good info on the forum already about the Stevens boats & would like to here more about these boats. Does anybody recognize this boat or know any history of it. Title says it is 17` 2" Serial # 2138. Casting on the block dates to 1969-71 BBC 427-454 heavy wall block. I would like to know if the interior is original to 1970. Any info would be helpful.

Nice boat. Stevens made a good looking boat. I owned a 1970 too very similar to yours. Mine was black silver with a wood deck with a small block. I have pictures but I would have to scan them. I live close to Gardena CA. where they were built. My interior looked the same but I had a bulk head behind the front seats.

Thanks for the reply Hammerhead! I have seen pic`s of boats with the bulkhead but none like my boat. I have been checking over everything on the boat & learning alot as I go.
