STV Transom Knees
Anyone know what the transom knees on a 95 Euro are made of? Foam, plywood? Thanks

I have a 1993 STV Pro Comp with the "Ski" bottom. On the original title issued from Summerford it states for hull material: Kevlar & Klegecell. So is the hull bottom Klegecell and everything else wood? Side supports? Knee braces? Transom?

the core is kledgecell; the stringers, knees and transom are plywood. Roark liked kledgecell; he was using it in the early 1980s in cores.

I`m in the middle of a restore of my 1982 380 Laser comp and it has the kledgecell bottom. Still strong as new after beating on it in marathon races after several years of sprint coarse compitition. I never had a hull failure with it except for a transom replacement dew to improper towing.
Transom, knees and stringers were wood. They are now all coosa.
