There's no weight in the bow! All the seats, cabinets, bulkheads, cushions, etc have been removed for restoration..Once put back into the bow it should level out a bit more..We may be heading to Sarasota on New Years Day for the Joey Gratton memorial fun run but I'll keep you posted!

Looks fine to me I think a lot of it is optical illusion due to the camera angle. Above and in front of the bow while looking aft.
Empty cabin may be some of it too.
Here's the good thing to consider too.The lighter the hull is, the higher it will float at the bow and lower at the motor. Your motor's stay the same weight so as hull weight goes down your center of gravity goes aft and the level of attack at rest will reflect this.
In other words, it's a good thing .I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

Great 2nd day on the 2800. Spent 5 hours on the water today getting to know the boat.. Started the day by installing the new passenger bolster seat..still waiting on the vinyl work to get finished but at least my wife had something to sit on. Turning some very big Suzuki four blades (15"X24 pitch) we saw 67 MPH at 5700 rpm with more in it. I'm sure I'll be able to get into the low/mid 70's switching to some Mercury 26 pitch choppers. The boat crushed every boat wake we hit!!! Wound up having dinner by water at GuanaBanas!!! The boat was very sensitive to trim and handled great. Here's a quick video shot by my wife and some pictures:
