you have to buy after market bearings or Mercs there are no generic rod bearings or main bearings, your not the first guy who tried to circumvent the system. buy a 25.00 caliper and measure them then you will know what size they are i build around 25 motors a year for outboards all V6 Merc Rod bearings cost me 17.00 each mains are 28.00 each ( i tried to convert bearings when i was building alot of lower units only found reverse gear was generic balance made for merc or aftermarket guys only)

You have to be careful when getting the brgs, they will have a speed or rpm rating depending on what is used for lube ie. grease, oil, etc. The number may be the same but normally have letters at end of the number that determine speed rating. You don't want a crank end brg only rated for 2000rpm on the end of your crank, a good parts person should be able to get you the right one.
