    K&B 3.5 O/B help

I just resurrected my old Dumas Hot Shot - new radio, cables, etc. It has been sitting for at least 20 years.

I can get the engine to start, but it won't stay running. I've tried setting the needle anywhere from 2 to 8 turns out. I'm using 15% fuel. Help!

I did note early on that the starter has to be hooked up backwards to turn the correct rotation. I'll try cleaning the carb and get a new plug. Glow starter is new. Thanks!

Got it running perfectly but idle was too high, hit a rock and broke one of the sponsons off.
