Action Marine 20 ?

I know there has been many threads on the Actions but not so much on the 20. I owned an 18 and loved it. Whats the difference between the 18 & 20 besides the 2ft. Is the 20 more stable ? Obviously its not as fast. What i really want is a tunnel hull but cant seem to find one in the price range i'm in . Looking for something under 20ft to run around in the keys to not have to take out the big ones all the time. Any advise would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance

The 20' Action , is a much bigger boat , all round then a 18' is . Also a much differant pad . The pad on a 20' is much narrower . Not sure of the domentions , but it will be obvious when you look under the boat . The 20' should be a much better ride in the rougher water then the smaller Actions , and will still run strong , with enough power through at them .

Very cool boats man. The couple I've had my hands on were built like tanks. Heavy layup, beautiful gel, great lookin rigs. I'd love to have one myself but there doesn't seem to be many out there.

I have a 20 im saving money for the repaint and rerig. They are taller and wider as well. Lot more room inside the boat. Ive gota 12" slidemaster jack plate for mine. I think 10" is best as far as set back goes but i got a hell off a deal on it so I got the 12". The 20 has a pretty pronounced air pocket in the bow to create lift and have been told of several guys that have gone over in the 20 so be careful they pack a LOT of air.

Every response has been pretty much on the money. Wider, longer and roomier. Better ride in rougher water but with a small sacrifice in speed over the smaller boats. They have a reputation as being easier to blow over because they are much wider.

I think I remember Bobby saying something about he didn't like the 20' , because it hurt his Dad .
I can say , that would have been a good enough reason for me also !

Ive had 3 20s they ride great in a chop yes a little slower they have a tendency to kite a little quicker at high speed upper 90s ive had multiple 19s different boats but all around great boats perfect for keys running 200 225 perfect motors merc or omc /red rocket out

I think i remember bobby saying something about he didn't like the 20' , because it hurt his dad .

crazy kennys 20fter runs 105+ with a diamond 280. He sold his euro cause it was boring him to death driving it. Cool boats for sure
