My buddy Ian has a pretty plain looking white 69 Nova with a 625 Merlin in it with nitrous that makes well over a grand.
He currently has the record for exceeding the speed limit in NH at 142 in a 30.

That nova is bad ass!
heres a few of my favorites
the junker drag truck, missing grill beat to hell old work truck with 250k miles on the factory engine and head gasket/head bolts running 85psi of boost out of twins. He has a total of 3500 bucks invested in the whole truck including mods and purchase. Hes got it running 11.5 on #2 only, has the power to run 10s but since its 2wd traction is his current limiting factor.
