Need seats and engine cover reupholstered in Long Island

i just bought my first boat finally. 18 ft 93' Scarab Sprint. the seats and motor cover need to be reupholstered because i cant stand the cracks. does anyone know a shop around Long island for a decent price?

i got a quote for 1000 on the interior.. just 4 seats and motor cover and they were going to throw in a new stitch job for the canvas.. is it worth doing?

no, im honestly thinking about doing everything myself, how hard could it possibly be? where could i get material is the question..

any fabric store ask for marine grade youll see plus it takes a comercial machine you cant do it on a house machine with the right materials

if you want to diy,contact CopyCats in Florida,take your old covers off send them to them,and they'll make you new.don't forget to buy an electric stapler and monel staples,and have at it!It'll cost you about half what it costs to pay to have it done!!
