Thread: Puppy names....German Shepherd
-

Authentic German names are cool (Heinrick, Rolf, Gunther). Maybe HK, not a knife, but a good kraut weapon anyway. One of my favorite names for our shepherds was Ceasar. Not German, but a very fitting name for a shepherd. That big old fella would grab a branch, seemingly no matter the size or length always from the end and carry it around, I swear just to show off how strong he was. German shepherds are great dogs, the two above are both great looking pups.

What happened to my last post???
Is there something offensive about farfegnugen and nein? Come on, nein is just German for no. I though that would be a funny name. Training the pup telling him, No nein.Last edited by CDave; 05-03-2012 at 07:57 AM.

Well...the Vet needed a name on their forms.....since they wrote "puppy" on there for the first few visits....
I had to tell them something this last trip....and this name may not stick....but he has for sure earned this name...cause he sure causes one.....
RUCKUS is what I told them to write down....
I still like "Chopper" but my Daughter doesn't like that one.....(tryin' to please to many people)....JOHN MASON

I like Romell toob but theres's a lot to be dsaid for seeing what he gets into and what his personality is. My wife's cousin's husband got a shepherd while his wife was about to give birth so she was home all day. The dog was a half step behind her anywhere she went so they called him Shadow. My buddy's pit used to love to break a piece off the wall near the corner of his bedroom door and eat the sheetrock, he almost got named Rocky but he named him Sh1thead instead.

i'd go with the name Ann Blowme. chicks love puppies so when it runs over to a bunch of girls at a park or something, just yell "come here Ann Blowme," that should break the ice.

German Shepards have always had my heart. I loved all of mine. Last one lived to be 13. He was solid black and his name was Boo.
Your pup looks as if someone spilled pepper all over him. Thats what i thought of when i first saw his pic. Pepper sounds like a good name. He sure is a good looking dog too.

Did you come up with a name yet? Why not keep it simple like the old song "Mack the Knife?" name him Mack and everyone will be happy.
