I had to give the Vet a name last trip over there...and I'm still not really happy with it....but I told them to write down "RUCKUS"...cause he sure causes one.....
I still call him by his nickname, "boogy", "boog" for short....and I never got to call Saber, (my last Shepherd), "Chopper" cause my wife, (now X) wouldn't let me call him that.....So, THIS one, still may be called Chopper....JOHN MASON

congratulations on a great looking pup! all the names on your list sound great to me. i find that no matter what name you end up using, after a few days your new pup just "looks" like the name! And before long you couldn't imagine the him being called anything else! So, what ever you pick...it'll turn out to be great for him. go with your gut feel!
i've also got 2 shepherds...best dogs ever.
here is Kilo (5yo) and Lucy(1yo).

Well.......I could never say Ruckus when I wanted to call him.....so his full time name is now CHOPPER.....I can call that name without having to think about it....and he answers to it better than Ruckus.....
Now my boat friends think of a prop...my biker friends think of a motorcycle, my dentist friends think of teeth....my horror movie friends think of a slasher.......and my pilot friends think of a helicopter.....
He still has 3 or 4 nick names that he also answers to....the Vet changed his name on their records a few times.....lol...JOHN MASON

If you have a German Shepherd dog, you can have many names under different themes.
For example, you can choose a name that shows his German heritage
This Male dog names list from Random Animal Picks will help you to pick a good name
