Puppy names....German Shepherd
I have had this German Shepherd puppy for a whole month now, and I am having a hard time coming up with a name....
I want something sword, or knife related, (my last two were Saber, and Dagger)....Seiko was before those...(get it, "watch dog")...lol....
I thought of Chopper or Cleaver also...but others say no way......I think I am trying to please to many people at one time....
Hydro is also on my list.....
I have wittled my 50 name list down to 10....and now down to 5....but they still don't ring like I want....
Anybody got any good ideas for German Shepherd names....(mean, or stabbing, or cutting, or HOT BOAT related)....
He does love the water...and not afraid of it at all.....
The second day I had him, he swam out to the end of the pier, cause he was afraid to walk down the 2x6's that I have at the begining of my pier.....
Any ideas ?JOHN MASON

last one I had (import from E. Germany) was "Shadow", she was solid black, before that there was Leto (another solid black) named after the Dune trilogy
Shadow was the most bad a$$ I've ever had, completely different from an American Shepherd. When my youngest was a tiny thing & would take a bath, she would literally crawl in the tub & sit down & watch over him. I didn't teach her that either.

John , Keep watching him , and pay attiontion to what he does , and gets into . He will name his self when you really pay attention to what he likes .
For instance , if he starts chatching and killing things on the river bank . Hunter !
See how it works .

Like the idea of seeing what he does... Named my last one J.D. cause he drank my jack and coke within 30 seconds of being at my house. One before that was bandit, cause he stole anything that he could get in his mouth and drag to his bed. Real german name for 1st sheperd dog I had was Heindrick, he was one bad azz dog, name suited him well......
