Would love to see numbers like that! There's some Allison/Merc guys around here that need a good run from a white motor. Don't think they'll see it coming. So what are you up to with this new motor? Or is it a secret.........? Sounds like the Mirage is gettin' an upgrade!

no secrets building a 3.3 nothin special light porting stock pistons short rod... should be a low and mid range animal and with the 1.62 gear i got be plenty to put me in the teens

Is that a Magnum case with the 1.62's, a Lightning, or something you put together? Sounds like a great top end ratio that I wouldn't mind having. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to come up with a 34 Cleaver to get the good #s. All I have now is one of Mike Bishop's 32's.

i got a coned 3.0L merc case i made work on my 16" omc mid. yeah should be my boat ran 108 with a 3.0 and the taylor/sporty setup my brother is running now at 6000... so the low rpm is nice to 5700 was 101 with a 34
