The Dirty Duck
Well boys I was feelin bored and my buddy called and asked if I wanted to go for a float,well I wasn't bored once we got there,his buddy had bought the powerboat magazine cover boat.42 MTI with 900SCs and six drives,what a ride.Best shes seen is 132mph,it has 35 pitch Herring 5blades on it.

Yeah, I looked into it. There is another. "dirty duck" from up here. It went for sale last year after the "high roller" who owned it finally financed himself into oblivion and went bankrupt.
I would wager to guess that a large percentage of those boats are bought and maintained on the same line of credit...which finally hits critical mass.
My friend bought a 150k boat for $75k in a similar deal.

Hefner has deeeep pockets! he also used to run a pro-mod hydro,lil dirty duck. The best(imho)nitrous guy, Earl moorman, works for him.

The guy up here was the other three. Million+ dollar house that was financed to the hilt, then sold for under 300k after the market crashed. He had all his toys hedged against the house too, so off they went!
Can you imagine how many of those guys will fill their fuel tanks with borrowed money trying to keep up with guys like Hefner? Man, even Reggie Fountain got caught up in the lifestyle he helped create.
