1976 21 Challenger Paint and Modernize

This winter i decided to paint and do some Modernization to the challenger.. i'm pretty pumped about the new look.. it was white and it was painted white again.. i didn't want to do anything crazy.. i love the white sitting in the water.

i stripped everything off of it.



Block sanded

Got it home to the shop and mounted some of the hardware

test fitting the small ones


Got the set back on and the motor mounted

got the rest of the gauges, hydralic steering and flush mount yamaha controls in



put the gps receiver in the top with a small bezel


Put the lower on and all the seats in

Looks like a nice clean rig. Really like the way you layed out the gauges.

You did a great job and just what that boated needed to look new again. I believe the garmin GPS antenna can mount under the bottom of that same deck spot, out of site, and work fine as another option.

i have a shadow just painted it a year ago and the gel coat is cracking already so pissed . any suggestions

I think I was painted prior than we sand the hell out of it and my freind gel coated it white what kind of paint you use and it's crack everywhere

This year i recored, used new product to redo the stringers and knees and blue printed the bottom.

Then the cherry on top is my new Hydro tec Yamaha HPDI Phase 3 ...
