    Mercury in fond da lac

I wonder if the people at mercury shipping and recieving are smoking something.I ordered a new motor last week, received it today and it has the wrong lower on it and wrong trim system.I ordered a 300xs,20 in mid offshore trim and sport master. They sent a standard trim,20 in left hand torquemaster lower. With service like that, they won't last.Someone there doesn't know how to read or pay attention,or both, plus now the shipper will have to pay all that freight.I also bought american to help out with jobs.WTF!!!!

Well sometimes you'll have that its human to error. But keep in mind why you chose to purchase that particular motor over the other brands to choose from. Im sure once you get it you'll be happier than a pig in $#it I remember how happy I was when I bought my first new 280

I'm not going into details how I purchased it,but what happened in ordering it.My point is that this is not the only thing I have had happen to me in ordering things, people just don't seem to listen to details when you place an order for anything,it's like in one ear and out the other.

I ordered a 25hp 2 stroke last month and they sent a four stroke. Luckily, my customer accepted it since the 4 stroke cost more. Also, it was getting shipped to Australia the next day and he couldn't wait for another motor.

They make it for the overseas market. The Australian customer sent me all the Mercury info on it. They also make carb motors for the overseas market. They had them at the Miami boat show a couple years ago.

How can you blast Mercury here and not give details to the whole story? If you are not a dealer how did you place the order? Was there a 3rd party involved?
