    motor bogging issues

ok guys, so i got my new boat on saturday and it has a formula 2.4 efi on the back. I know the boat has been sitting since last september without being ran and i dont think it was run but maybe once or twice at all last summer. I took the boat out saturday after filling both tanks up with fresh gas and it ran fine until i opened it up all the way..it seemed to rev all the way out (as much as prop would allow, about 5700) but wouldnt hold the rpms ..it would kinda miss.. anyways i ran it for a while then proceeded to continue cruising around the lake and it started bogging so bad it wouldnt stay on plane all the way down to idle only. I cut the fuel pump off (electric) and could let it sit for 5 or 6 seconds and could fire it back up and the motor would scream, jump on plane and make it about 1/4 mile then start bogging again..i had to repeat this process all the way back to the boat ramp..any ideas? im thinkin fuel pump but have no idea. i came from omc motors with carbs so this is all new to me.. any help is appreciated and i imagine ill stick a fuel pressure gauge on tom. after work.. thanks again guys

yea clear filters and they are clean. I even switched tanks thinking maybe one of the tanks was dirtier or had debris in the pick up but both tanks act the same way..

How about the fuel lines? They can collapse on the inside from ethanol and cause the symptoms you describe....The motor seems to run ok when it is getting fuel
