#1 boat gets beached, #2 'pro' pulls boat off beach, #3 boat rolls and sinks
This past Sat, I went to Boca Grand (Gasparilla Island) for an Easter egg hunt
with our grandchildren. After the gala event, I drove to the South most end, to
Boca Grande Pass and Lighthouse. I came across this boat, a real nice twin
engine Center Console. According to the park ranger, it arrived about 2:00am,
reportedly with steering problems. When I arrived Sat about 11:00am, a
professional tow company was already on site with two boats.

Oh man, what a bummer! Feel for that guy! I'd be sick to my stomach if it were my boat.

The part they missed was the pumping the water out so it would float. I agree, excellent documentation. I hope the tow guy has been keeping his lia. insurance up.....

This may be a stupid question and a little off topic, but why is there no registration number on the boat?

Such a shame to see some thing like that. The question I have is, why didnt someone turn the pumps on before they even moved it. Nobody had to be in it for them to run on auto mode..... I think I would be sick out of my mind if that were mine.....

Great camera! I would say that boat was brand new... It didn't even have a VHF antenna on the top....
Welcome to boating guy Classic
