    Exhaust hook-up help - CVX-21

Finally have the motor mounted in the boat!

    455 olds with Berkley drive, CVX-21 '75
The old "log-style" Hardin exhaust manifolds / risers are 3" diameter.
The exahust "tips" are 2 7/8"

The risers do not line up with the tips. There's an offset of about 2 inches. (port to starboard)
The exhaust needs to be about 10" long (assuming a 1 1/2" overlap)

Can someone suggest a flexible exhaust tube that can go between the risers and exhaust tips?

I tossed the old exhaust tubes.
I noticed that they were not straight, they were kind of deformed, cracked and generall worn-out . Now I understand why they were deformed. I thought it was going to be a straight shot from the risers back to the tips.

I purchased the boat as a project and keep having these surprises.

I had the same problem. I corrected it with wedges between the manifolds and the risers. I don't remember what direction mine was off, but it doesn't matter. Looks like this.

As far as the tips.....you just need 3" tips. I can tell you how to enlarge the holes if you need help.
